"Wooden construction, basketry and textiles inform my work which I develop using the process of repetition and layering.

"Each new work I create is an adventure because I never know where it will take me or what it will look like when it is done. Each is made up of many, many layers and every time I paint a new layer of paint, I leave “bits” of the previous layer behind. Ultimately, I like to layer and layer, creating all sorts of “bits,” until the painting is super chaotic. Then I get to do my favorite part of the whole process, which is to create order and simplicity out of the chaos." - Sarah Fox

"Lance Letscher creates poetic, often playful collages out of found objects, such as old letters, newspaper clippings, books, recipes and album covers, all cut and composed into fascinating patterns and textures. Letscher has an eye for harmony of color and the familiarity of his materials adds to his work’s broad appeal. His constructions are amplified by the engagement of viewers’ memories and emotions with the familiar materials he uses." - Eight Modern

"My work is painted, scratched, inlayed with porcelain and decorated with slips. The painted elements are simple: circles, spots and lines compliment the hand built and thrown forms." - Petra Bittl

"Ann Weber brings to her work an entirely unique and exciting approach to sculpture. Using cardboard as her medium, she weaves, staples and shellacs works that are so organic and resolved that they seem to come from nature itself. We feel a surge of recognition even though we have never seen them before. Many of the sculptures are large, up to 16 feet tall and yet they are light and easy to install." - Donna Seager Gallery
