"Our jewelry occupies an odd space somewhere between logic and intuition. Sometimes an idea dictates which path we follow and, at other times, materials lead us. We share a love of materials, and we have allowed ourselves to be free to explore any materials that we feel are appropriate for a particular piece, whether they be found, manufactures or made by us. Although our work is sculptural, we are concerned about the pieces functioning as jewelry, wearable and intimate objects that address craftsmanship, weight, and scale as much as concept and design."
