Marcia Freedman

"The essence of the process uses the interior and exterior of the human body as a source. I then reconstruct and reconfigure images into symbols describing the fluidity of life and changes that occur due to the affects of genetics and the environment, both natural and man made. Combined with the physicality of paint, they accumulate to form layers of dense surface embedded with color, texture and form. The resultant images are mostly abstract, but in fact, based on the constant inquiry into the reality of life experience." - Marcia Freedman
