"The printed artefact provides a visual structure to reinvent, with reference material such as old maps, books, sheet music and anatomical illustrations becoming a surface to play with.
The use of processes such as stitch and embroidery has been prevalent to my working methodology as it allows me to both subvert and adapt the meaning of material.
