David Gignac

"Working in steel, David Gignac creates industrial sculptures that bridge the gap between the mysterious and the familiar. Gignac transforms common objects and forms through forging and fabricating steel and frequently the works will also incorporate cast glass or recycled products. Although most works are recognizable representations, the artist at times alters the materials so completely that they begin to reference the deep history of ancient forms." - Patricia Rovzar
