Diane Schroeder

"My abstractions of landscape include elements that also translate to life's experiences--light, lines, shapes, relationships of one color against another, and the textures that help describe subtleties and contrasts." - Diane Schroeder

Diane Schroeder has maintained oil paint as the basis of her art. The collage elements are saved pieces of papers that have touched the artist's life. She combines pencil, craypas, charcoal, metallic ink, gold leaf, and foils into an exploration of materials that resonate with viewers.
